Barbãr is a golden colored beer with a creamy head and a powerful nose. The taste of honey is clearly present and was richly combined with notes of flowers, herbs and citrus fruits.
The attack is wide, but not heavy, thanks to the use of soft wheat. The honey sugar that is added during the cooking of the malt is fermented and thus converted into alcohol. The result is a soft, but unsweetened beer with a slightly sour touch that provides a refreshing taste. The finish is subtle and refined, but not bitter. An original and characteristic beer that has a long history and was called the “Resting Place of the Warrior” by our ancestors.
