The Monk’s Stout belongs to the brewing history of Brasserie Dupont.
Created in 1950 and released in 2011, retaining the name and “retro label”.
This “black” beer is dry and bitter, and the use of “roasted malt” results in pronounced coffee and chocolate flavors.
The hop flavors remain very emphatically present.
Monk’s Stout is a top-fermented beer with secondary fermentation in the bottle.
