St. Bernardus Tripel

Categories: ,

St. Bernardus Tripel is a traditional abbey beer, brewed according to the classic “Tripel” style. In the region around Watou, the Tripel is often called a “Bernadetje”, a nice reference and homage to Bernadette, the youngest daughter of Evariste Deconinck.

Color
St. Bernardus Tripel is a blond beer, with an inviting golden hue and an imposing, satiny soft head.

Character, taste, aromas
St. Bernardus Tripel has a slightly sweet aroma and a floral, fruity taste where bitter and sweet keep each other in perfect harmony. Thanks to its pleasant hoppiness, the beer has a beatifying roundness in the mouth and has the excellent combination of both thirst-quenching and appetite-stimulating. A very accessible beer with a surprisingly light character.

Culinary
Due to its discreet bitterness, it is very suitable for receptions or as an aperitif. This Tripel goes very well with poultry or as a seasoning for savory snacks.
