This month’s Belgian beer box includes the following 12 Belgian beers:

Rochefort Extra (8.1%), the newest addition the the Rochfort lineup, but already shaking up the best beer rankings. A refreshing trappist beer that will delight the palate of beer lovers with its golden blonde colour, citrus notes and spicy scent.

Orval (6.2%), brewed in the Notre-Dame d’Orval Abbey. This beer has a beautiful amber colored beer with secondary fermentation in the bottle and has an intense bitterness and a rich taste that is dry and hoppy.

La Guillotine (8.5%), an award winning tripel ale, from the Delirium brewer. This beer is a golden blond, multigrain beer with lots of citrus from the Saaz, Brewers Gold and Amarillo. Initially a sweet, intense taste the bitterness comes in for a balanced, smooth finish.

De La Senne ZinneBir (5.8%), golden blonde, malty, with a fine bitterness and a long aftertaste. The scent is complex, developing a fruity-hop intense fragrance.

Vedett White (4.7%), Extra White, winner of the world beer awards in 2017, a hazy Belgian white.

Brugse Zot Blonde (6%), refermented in the bottle, this is is a very drinkable, although still strong 6% ABV, Belgian blonde.

Brewmaster’s Selection Wild Triple Hop (8% Abv), this beer consists of 15% pure foeder beer that has been ageing on French oak foeders for 24 months, blended brilliantly together with our delicious Petrus Tripel. On top of that, 2 American hops were added, Cascade and Amarillo. This combination creates an 8% ABV golden ale, with a nice foamy head, a fresh citrus-scent, a beautiful bitterness and a pleasant sourish aftertaste.

Brewmaster’s Selection Wild Funky Wit (5% Abv), a refreshing witbeer. Instead of using yeast for the first fermentation, the wild microflora derived from the breweries’ oak foeders was used. Due to the complexity of these flora, the beer required a longer and intense fermentation. The result: the ultimate refreshment with a citrus-sour flavor and taste!

St. Bernardus Tripel (8%), a pale amber colour and a flowery, fruity taste with a harmonious balance between sweet and sour. This beer has a thick and vivid froth and strikes by its balanced taste with a delicate bitterness.

Troubadour Blonde (6.5%), easy drinking and extremely refreshing with a fruity aroma and hoppy, spicy flavour. The full malty and slightly spicy body is followed by a mild bitter aftertaste.

De Ranke Guldenberg (8.5%), a tripel-style abbey ale made of pale malt with the addition of candy sugar. The bitterness from Hallertau hops through dry hopping techniques with the same hops which give the ale its unique flavour and aroma and its perfect balance between sweet and bitter.

Saison Dupont (5,2%), a coppery blonde beer, with aromas of fine hops, with marked bitterness, dry and very refreshing. Coppery blond, the finest aromas and a strong bitterness transform this beer into a thirst-quencher. The selection of yeasts is the perfect base for these typical aromas and ditto taste. A real refermentation in the bottle, which will continue for a long time in your cellar, result into this complex and particular aromatic beer.
