All traditional beer subscription boxes
Beer subscriptions aren’t only for craft beer, not everyone is a fan of those limited edition espresso martini milk stouts or those pink grapefruit session IPAs. If you’re looking for the classic beer styles, the traditional beer subscription is something for you. From dark porters to light ales, to bitters and Belgian trappist beers. Although, there are limited options available when it comes to traditional beer subscriptions, remember that they do also change every month, so you’ll always be able to discover new beers and breweries.
Best of British Beer – Beer club
One of the oldest beer subscriptions, launched in 2011 and Best of British Beers still stands out for 2 reasons:
First, they deliver 6 or 12 500ml bottles of award-winning breweries, no small cans or tiny bottles. Occasionally, you might find a 330ml or 440ml can or bottle but that’s only if it’s something truly exceptional.
Second, they are the only beer subscription service where you can order a box which is solely filled with dark beers. Not too worry, they also offer a light beer case and a mixed beer case.
Alongside the beers you will find tasting notes and your personal pub quiz. You will also receive a branded beer glass with your first order.
Subscribe to Best of British Beers Beer club (from £40 per month + shipping)

Fresh draft beer, straight from the keg to can, delivered to your door? That is what the Crowler Club is all about. What is a crowler? Yes, crowler, not growler, a large can which is being used to transport the beer from the keg directly to you.
Ghost Whale uses their canning machine to can all of our 6 keg lines into 500ml cans (crowlers) to be delivered driectly to you. To maximise freshness, the cans are ‘purged’ (filled with neutral gas) before filling, just like on a full scale canning line to minimise the amount of air the beer comes into contact with. The purged can is then filled with fresh beer straight from the tap before being sealed.
